Atlanta's Nasty Nest

Welcome to the the Nasty Nest website - the home for all passionate fans of the NHL 2007 Southeast Division Champion Atlanta Thrashers! (yeah, we're still clinging to that - but... uh, next year's the year!)

The Nasty Nest is much more than a website - it is a vibrant community of like-minded folks who enjoy socializing with each other, tailgating, playing "beer league" hockey, and of course, supporting the team with a passion that can scare small children and those with heart conditions.

A favorite feature of the NastyNest website would be our Thrashers message boards. Once registered, fans of the team, or even fans of other NHL teams, are free to express themselves - as long as it doesn't get too ugly. Profanity is fine - bigotry is not. If you can handle that, we'd love to have you join the community. Even better, once you've registered, you can also take advantage of our live chat room - just the thing for those watching games at home, who want to express joy, sorrow, or a complete "know-it-all" attitude that will annoy everyone else. We can handle about 75 concurrent users, so it can get wild and woolly!

So, what else? Well, we now have a news section of the site - yep, by leveraging the power of RSS feeds, you can now check out the latest hockey news as well as Atlanta sports news right here. Neat-o-keen - you can save all sorts of wear and tear on your poor little mouse finger by not surfing to a bajillion websites. See, we care!(Sort of...)

There is also a page that features a lot of blogs affiliated with the Nest and/or Thrashers. We're not certain this is a good idea or not, but keep in mind, we just link to them - we're not sayin' that they are right...

Finally, since this site costs $$ to run, the site now has a "support the site" page, with links to a wide variety of online stores and offers. All of which will generate a commission for this site should you decide to buy something or accept an offer.

If you're already a member of the site, but can't seem to log on, click on the "Forgot your password?" link and fill out the short form.
